Shelby was introduced to massage as a teenager and immediately discovered the benefits of receiving regular bodywork. After graduating from Chapman University with a BFA in dance performance, she enrolled at the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing where she earned an advanced massage therapy certification. Using a combination of Swedish, deep tissue, joint mobilization, and stretching techniques, Shelby tailors each session to her clients' current massage needs, providing a relaxing experience while simultaneously relieving tension in problem areas. Shelby's goal is to eliminate pain and discomfort, to educate on the human body, and to empower individual change. She looks forward to helping your body reach its full potential.

I studied Massage Therapy at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Boulder, CO. There I received my Certification as well as my Associates of Occupational Studies (AOS) Degree. Before I became a Massage Therapist I studied art and philosophy at the University of Nevada, Reno where I received my Bachelors of Art (BA) Degree. During this time I was introduced to energy work which inspired me to become a Massage Therapist. I still enjoy the creative process and I like to bring that into my practice by using my hands instead of paint and a brush. I base my philosophy to massage on the premise that we are all a unified mind, body, and soul. Health comes when all of these aspects are in balance. As a therapist, I can and will facilitate this process for the client through an integrative approach, which incorporates energy work and Chakra balancing to therapeutic bodywork. By releasing stagnation and blockages I allow the natural flow of energy in the body which eases pain and tension.
Keep moving forward! My name is Joshua Rodriguez, I graduated from a 700 hour massage therapy program at De Anza college in Cupertino, CA in June 2019.
My specialties include Swedish massage, deep tissue, and sports massage therapy. I am very passionate about massage education to add other modalities and techniques to my range of abilities. I love meeting new clients and working with them to improve their health.
